Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in one-on-one sessions. You will implement individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA, using evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training. You should be patient, compassionate, and able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
