Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA supervision.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while addressing challenging behaviors, with comprehensive training provided. Expect physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, and assisting children up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years of age.
• CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test required (if you haven't had one in the last year) or ability to obtain.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team environment.
• Assist with lifting or moving children or objects up to 50 pounds when needed.
