Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA. You’ll use evidence-based methods to teach communication, social and daily living skills while fostering safety and comfort during activities.

We provide training and a supportive team environment. The role includes lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking as part of daily duties; a patient, dedicated approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and team-oriented.
• 18+ years of age and eligible for CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in sitting/standing from floor or chair multiple times a day.
• Help children engage in communication, social and daily living skills.
• Ensure safety during activities and assist with lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
