Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience required. You should be able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and move in various positions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support children to reach their full potential and participate safely in activities.
