Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under BCBA guidance.

You'll learn evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while maintaining safety. Training is provided, no prior experience required; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and pass background checks. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Interact one-on-one with children and implement behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Ensure safety and well-being of clients during activities.
