Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking passionate Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with clients, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA's supervision, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication and daily living skills.

Training is provided to all hires, with a focus on patient, team-oriented care. Applicants should be able to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans
• Collaborate under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and participate in comprehensive training
