Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under the guidance of a BCBA, implementing individualized behavior plans and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

This role emphasizes patience, teamwork, and comprehensive training. You may lift or assist children up to 50 pounds and will contribute to meaningful, positive outcomes for families each day.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test, and pass a background check.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors.
