Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided. You must be able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds, pass a background check, and obtain CPR/First Aid TB test. Join a dedicated team making a meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism to implement intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Follow guidance from a BCBA and collaborate with the team.
• Ensure safety and engagement during activities.
