Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support meaningful development for each child.
