Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.

Applicants should be patient, compassionate, and able to collaborate in a team. Training is provided, and the role involves physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with a supportive team and participate in ongoing training.
