Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one, implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills with evidence-based techniques.

Join a team dedicated to meaningful impact. Training is provided, and applicants should be patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. Eligible to lift up to 50 pounds as needed throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (within last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• One-on-one work with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors while promoting engagement and learning.
