Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support; no prior experience is required. You should be comfortable assisting children in various activities and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a pay range of $17–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient and able to work well in a team.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
