Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under a BCBA's guidance. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Ideal candidates are patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. Training is provided, and the role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds. Pay ranges from $19 to $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
