Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided. The role involves physical activities and lifting up to 50 pounds, with opportunities to grow in a structured ABA

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Background check required.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Sitting and standing from floor or chair multiple times daily.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Move quickly when needed to ensure client safety and interaction.
