Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You’ll use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We offer comprehensive training, a positive team environment, and a pay range of $17–$23 per hour. Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• Minimum age 18 years and a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
