Job summary

Centria Autism in Monroe, LA is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques while supporting families. The role requires patience, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay range is $19.00–$24.00 per hour. Training is provided and inclusive benefits are offered to support your professional growth

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Assist BCBA under supervision and use evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Ensure safety and comfort during sessions.
• Join a dedicated team focused on positive outcomes for children and families.
