Job summary

Centria Autism in Louisiana is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience is required—comprehensive training is provided. This full-time role offers a pay range of $19.00-$24.00 per hour and opportunities to grow

Qualifications

Passionate about helping children with autism.
Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
18+ years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with the team.
