Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children, following individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork, with comprehensive training provided. You must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily activities.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion in working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR, First Aid certification and TB test obtainable.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Capacity to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
• Participate in training provided by the company.
