Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will help teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

We value compassionate, patient team players who can handle the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Comprehensive training is provided to get you started.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Maintain safe and supportive environment during interactions.
• Participate in training provided to perform duties effectively.
