Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in a one-on-one setting under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans and use evidence-based techniques to develop communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We value passion for helping children, patience, and teamwork. Comprehensive training is provided; lifting up to 50 pounds may be required as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

Patience and compassion required to support children with autism.
Ability to work well in a team and follow BCBA guidance.
Must be 18+ years and have a high school diploma or GED.
CPR/First Aid certification and TB test may be required.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one intervention under a BCBA.
Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
Reduce interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques.
Help children move safely and participate in activities.
