Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals for the Behavior Technician role. You will work one-on-one with children, following BCBA-guided plans to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training, and all candidates must be patient, compassionate, and able to collaborate in a team. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test may be required.
• Ability to obtain certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with supervisors.
