Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians to support children with autism on a one-on-one basis under BCBA guidance. You will help teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided; you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and pass background checks. Join a team devoted to meaningful, positive outcomes for kids and families.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Move and assist children up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment.
