Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Background check required
• Move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification within 45 days

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support child development.
