Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

trained team members will support you in using evidence-based techniques, while safety and child well-being remain the priority. The role involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and collaborating with a caring team.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and a TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Provide patient, compassionate support and collaborate with teammates to support children with autism.
• Maintain safety and well-being of children during activities and transitions.
