Job summary

CENTRIA AUTISM is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in a one-on-one setting. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized behavior intervention plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

Experience is not required as comprehensive training is provided. Applicants should be patient, compassionate, and able to move and lift up to 50 pounds as needed to support client activities.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support child progress.
