Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided to start regardless of prior experience. The role emphasizes patient, compassionate teamwork and physical ability to assist children in various activities and positions, including lifting up to 50

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid cert and TB test required or able to obtain.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
• Join a supportive team and participate in comprehensive training to start with confidence.
