Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training to onboard you, with a focus on safety and teamwork. The role involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, and you will contribute to meaningful outcomes for children

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Assist BCBA under supervision to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Maintain safety and participate in activities requiring standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
