Job summary

KPMG is seeking an Intern, Audit Data Engineering Services to join our Audit and Assurance team in the United States. You will work on data acquisition, transformation, and analysis to enable high-quality audit outcomes, using Alteryx, SQL, Python, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage and Power BI.

You will collaborate with audit engagement teams to define the scope, review analytic results, and help plan and execute the audit, while learning to prepare clear audit

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited college/university pursuing an IT-related degree; CPA eligibility requirements may apply.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0+.
• Experience with SQL Server, MSBI or cloud tech; quick learner of new technologies.
• Strong communication, organization and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Data acquisition, movement, transformation and analysis for high-quality audit outcomes.
• Use Alteryx, SQL, Python, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Data Lake and Power BI for scalable audit solutions.
• Collaborate with audit teams to define scope and review analytic results for consistency.
• Prepare clear, well-structured audit documentation for data processing and validation.
• Support high-quality technology-enabled audits within a high-performance team.
