Job summary

KPMG LLP is recruiting an Audit Intern to join our Audit and Assurance team in the United States. You will work on financial statement audits, review client processes, and assist in the development of audit documentation and testing under supervision.

The role emphasizes data analytics, including Excel, Alteryx, SQL and Power BI, with in-person work required several days per week. Winter 2028 start and path toward CPA licensure are highlighted in this program.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university with accounting coursework.
• Pursuing CPA licensure in the principal place of business.
• Completion of at least one college-level accounting course is required.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Bilingual in English and Korean for business environments.
• Experience with data analytics tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting financial statement audits and support capital market assurance.
• Learn to prepare clear audit documentation and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Support testing of client controls and account balances under guidance.
• Contribute to data-driven audit using AI, Excel, Alteryx, SQL and Power BI.
