Job summary

Tahoe Family Hearing Clinic, PC in South Lake Tahoe, CA is seeking a part-time Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. This role focuses on providing excellent front-desk and administrative support in a community-focused audiology practice.

The ideal candidate will be patient-centered, detail oriented, and comfortable coordinating scheduling, insurance verifications, and patient communications across multiple channels.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year sales or customer services experience.
• Experience with insurance verifications and prior authorizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient scheduling and confirm patient details.
• Foster patient satisfaction and clinic productivity.
• Insurance verifications & prior authorizations.
• Maintain patient records and charts.
• Inventory management in EMR system.
• Extensive customer service via email, phone, text, and in person.
• Process hearing aid orders, cleanings, and repairs.
• Assist audiology team with related tasks.
• HIPAA compliance and ethics.
• Office operations and community outreach.
• Maintain a welcoming clinic environment.
