Job summary

Encore Global in Orlando, FL is seeking a part-time On-site Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting, ensuring guest satisfaction. You will work under supervision of the Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology, with duties including on-site coordination, invoicing support, and equipment management.

The role requires a High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred), 1 year of hospitality or AV experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate Company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, operates, and breaks down basic audiovisual equipment to ensure flawless events.
• Exceeds customer expectations and maintains positive client relationships on site.
• Troubleshoots equipment and software issues promptly and professionally.
• Completes system entry, paperwork, and uses equipment sheets for scheduling and invoicing.
