Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a Transportation Administrative Coordinator to support the customer experience and streamline vehicle movements across auctions. You will coordinate pickups and deliveries, verify and update vehicle data, and maintain accurate movement records while ensuring compliance with policies.

The role requires organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Excel and database use, with strong communication to drivers and staff.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in automotive or transportation administrative role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with accurate record-keeping and documentation.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and basic database use.
• Effective verbal and written communication with clients and vendors.
• Basic automotive terminology and vehicle condition knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support customer experience improvements and simplifications.
• Coordinate transportation of vehicles between auction and locations.
• Maintain records of vehicle movements (check-in/check-out/transfer).
• Communicate with drivers, auction staff, and vendors to schedule pickups/deliveries.
• Verify vehicle information in databases and systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Resolve issues and delays in transportation processes.
• Assist with logistics for events or auctions.
• Provide administrative support including data entry and filing.
• Collaborate with customer service and operations for smooth workflow.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
