Job summary

The Adaptavist Group seeks an experienced Atlassian Technical Consultant to help customers maximize value from Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and related tools. You will design and implement solutions, assist with migrations, and contribute to pre‑sales with estimates and proposals.

Travel to client sites is expected as needed. Remote-first working culture with generous time off, MacBooks provided, and strong support for fully remote home offices.

Qualifications

• German proficiency is a must.
• Experience with Atlassian toolsets and technical consulting.
• Scripting experience in Groovy or Python.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Strong written and spoken English language skills.
• Experience in migrations and solution design.
• Experience presenting solutions to customers based on requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse client requirements, researching and recommending Atlassian solutions.
• Communicate with stakeholders and participate in pre‑sales activities.
• Installations, upgrades, migrations for Atlassian applications and related tech.
• Design and implement custom Atlassian solutions (workflows, plugins/scripts).
• Scripting with Groovy or Python, and API integrations via REST.
• Manage system administration tasks on Linux/Windows and database operations.
