Job summary

Adaptavist is seeking an Atlassian Technical Consultant to join a remote-first team helping customers maximise Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and related productivity tools. You’ll guide integrations, automate processes, and support migrations, upgrades, and performance tuning.

You’ll contribute to pre-sales, design solutions, estimate efforts, and share knowledge. Some travel to client sites will be required; strong German and English skills, plus experience in cloud infrastructure and scripting,

Qualifications

• German proficiency is a must.
• Experience in technical consulting with Atlassian toolsets is a must.
• Scripting experience in Groovy or Python or similar.
• Experience in system administration (Linux) and Bash scripting; database operations.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure setup (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Experience presenting solutions to customers based on requirements.
• Experience writing technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse requirements using knowledge of Atlassian products; research and present solutions; make recommendations.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders.
• Participate in pre-sales; help define scope and estimates; assist in solution design.
• Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and improvements.
• Travel to client sites and work on site where necessary.
