Securian Financial Group is seeking a Regional Sales Director to drive profitable growth across the employee benefits portfolio, including Group Life, AD&D, and Supplemental Health/Voluntary Benefits, within the Atlantic territory.

This field-focused role develops and executes a comprehensive territory sales strategy in partnership with leadership, builds channel partner relationships, identifies new opportunities, and leads RFP activity through to close.

Formación

• Proven successful sales in employee benefits, insurance, or complex B2B environments.
• Ability to sell to mid-to-large employers and manage complex, consultative cycles.
• Broad knowledge of group benefits, Life, AD&D, and Voluntary Benefits.

Responsabilidades

• Own and execute territory sales strategy across Group Life, AD&D, and Voluntary Benefits.
• Develop and expand channel partner relationships in the Atlantic territory.
• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting and partnerships.
• Manage the sales cycle from identification to close, including RFP assessment and submission.
• Apply a consultative, multi-product approach to understand employer needs and identify opportunities.
• Partner with leadership to develop territory priorities and coordinate sales activity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive solutions and navigate complex opportunities.
• Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations articulating Securian's value.
• Maintain Salesforce pipeline and use data to prioritize activity and improve territory performance.
• Provide market intelligence to inform product strategy and business decisions.
