Job summary

Heidelberg Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced sales consultant in the Atlanta area to promote our ophthalmic imaging products and support existing users.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in medical/capital sales, with strong presentation skills, territory planning, and demo capabilities. Travel up to 80% is expected as the role represents the company at events and with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in medical/capital equipment sales.
• Experience in territory sales planning, prospecting, and cold calling.
• Proven product demonstration and sales presentation skills.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and leadership in a dynamic team.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and work in the Atlanta area.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales quotas by promoting the value proposition of all products to new and existing customers.
• Regularly communicate sales plans and activities to sales management.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales consultants, field applications, service teams, and HQ sales administration.
• Represent Heidelberg Engineering at local, regional and national symposiums, trade shows, and congresses.
• Educate customers on the value of the company’s products.
• Engage marketing and applications teams for in-territory field sales and marketing activities (peer-to-peer roadshows, seminars, webinars).
• Use Salesforce to build and maintain a database of prospective customers and manage sales leads.
• Contribute to product support and provide training and installation assistance.
• Generate and present quotes and communicate billing, insurance, and delivery details.
• Follow up on customer concerns and escalate issues to HQ for timely resolution.
