Job summary

Bgc Albany is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director to support the Athletics Department. The role reports to the Athletics Director and is a full-time exempt position with hours 12pm-8pm, Monday through Friday, with seasonal variation.

Responsibilities include supervising youth and adult sports, managing registrations, maintaining schedules, coordinating events, and assisting with donor relations and volunteer groups. A strong, calm communicator with MS Office proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Must have great communication verbally, electronically, and in person.
• Experience with Microsoft programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
• Computer literate and organized with ability to multitask.
• Preferred experience with volunteers and volunteer groups.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Youth and Adult Indoor Soccer; Adult Basketball; Track Program.
• Maintain athletic department emails and respond to inquiries.
• Answer multi-line phone and assist public with registration and online accounts.
• Learn and become proficient in the department's online registration program.
• Maintain facility, gym, and field schedules and assist with event setup.
