Job summary

New Balance Athletics, Inc. is seeking Retail Sale Associates to ensure store operations run smoothly and deliver exceptional customer service. You will use product knowledge to assist customers through every step of the purchase process and positively represent the New Balance brand.

You will greet customers, understand their needs, educate on features/benefits, and close sales with effective upselling. Prior retail experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals who excel in team

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Past retail experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cash register functions.
• Ability to quickly perform basic math.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques and product knowledge.
• Greet customers and understand their needs.

• Transact sales with effective closing and upselling.
