Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of transmission and substation projects from offices across the U.S. The role requires collaboration with project teams, clients, and contractors, plus travel as needed to meet objectives.

You will track progress, manage documentation, and help prepare reports for management and clients, while ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry-related experience in engineering, construction or management.
• 3+ years of professional experience in engineering, construction, or electric power industries.
• Strong coordination, written and verbal communication skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activities with internal teams, clients, vendors, and contractors to meet schedules.
• Monitor project progress using KPIs, identify risks, and report findings to senior staff.
• Prepare and maintain progress reports, minutes, risk assessments, change orders, and closeout docs.
• Assist in tracking expenses and ensure expenditures align with budgets.
• Support presentations, status updates, and stakeholder meetings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate efficient workflows and deliverables.
