Job summary

WSP is seeking Associate Project Managers to support transmission and substation projects across multiple US offices, with travel as needed. You will assist in coordinating project activities, preparing reports, and tracking progress to ensure deliverables meet client objectives.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and 3+ years in engineering/construction. Proficiency in MS Office and basic PM software is expected; travel to client sites is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering management, or construction management or equivalent experience.
• Three+ years of professional experience in engineering, construction, and/or electric power industry.
• Understanding of project management principles and processes, with focus on coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activities with internal teams, clients, vendors, and contractors to meet objectives.
• Monitor progress by tracking KPIs and reporting risks/delays to seniors.
• Prepare and maintain project docs: progress reports, meeting minutes, risk assessments, change orders, closeout reports.
• Assist in budgeting by tracking expenses and ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
• Prepare presentations and status updates for meetings with management and clients.
