Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support project teams across multiple offices in the United States. The role focuses on coordinating activities, tracking progress, and ensuring project deliverables meet objectives.

You will collaborate with management, production and project services, while supporting scheduling, reporting and administrative tasks. Travel to client or office sites may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry related experience from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of professional experience in engineering, construction, and/or electric power industry.
• Basic understanding of project management principles and processes with focus on coordination and communication.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with PM software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activities with internal teams, clients, vendors, and contractors to keep tasks on schedule and aligned with objectives.
• Monitor project progress by tracking KPIs, identifying risks or delays, and reporting to senior team members.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including progress reports, minutes, risk assessments, change orders, and closeout reports.
• Assist in managing project budgets by tracking expenses and ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
• Identify and address routine challenges during project execution and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and status updates for project meetings and stakeholders.
• Adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and policies; perform additional duties as required.
