Associate Project Manager — Multisite Delivery

Job summary

WSP is seeking Associate Project Managers to support delivery of transmission and substation projects from multiple U.S. offices, including Columbus, OH. The role requires coordinating with project teams, clients and contractors and may involve travel to client sites.

You will help plan, track, and report on project progress, budgets, and risks, while maintaining documentation and facilitating stakeholder communications to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering management, or construction management or equivalent industry experience.
• Three+ years of professional experience in engineering, construction, and/or electric power industry.
• Basic understanding of project management principles and processes, with focus on coordination and communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with basic project management software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activities with internal teams, clients, vendors and contractors to keep tasks on schedule.
• Monitor project progress by tracking KPIs and reporting risks or delays to senior staff.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including progress reports, minutes, risk assessments and change orders.
• Assist in tracking expenses and ensure expenditures align with budgets.
• Support meetings, prepare presentations and status updates for clients and management.
