Job summary

DoorDash in Los Angeles is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support planning, execution, and delivery of physical security technology projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are on time, within scope, and within budget, with travel of 25% or more.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related work, 1+ year in project management, and familiarity with Agile or Waterfall, PM tools like Smartsheets, Jira, Asana, Salesforce, and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 4 years of work experience in quantitative or business fields.
• 1+ years of experience in project management or a related role, preferably in technology or security.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project scheduling/budgeting tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating project activities including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Support development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate communication between project teams and local business operation leaders.
• Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare project documentation such as reports and meeting notes.
• Maintain project management tools and track milestones and deliverables.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement security solutions.
