Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support planning, execution, and delivery of physical security technology projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, budget-aligned results and will travel 25%+ as needed.

This role offers growth in project management within a fast-paced tech environment, with responsibilities spanning scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and stakeholder updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years in quantitative or business fields
• 1+ years in project management or related role
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and project cost management
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Proficiency in PM software (Smartsheets, Jira, Asana, Salesforce)
• Basic understanding of physical security technologies (Axis, Genetec, Mercury, Aiphone, Von Duprin, HID)
• Security platform certifications are a plus (Genetec, Axis, Software House, OpenPath)
• Familiarity with physical security systems (video surveillance, access control, door hardware, intrusion)

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating project activities including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation
• Support project managers in developing plans, timelines and deliverables
• Monitor progress and provide updates to stakeholders
• Coordinate communication between project teams and local leaders
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning
• Prepare project documentation such as reports and meeting notes
• Participate in project meetings and problem-solving discussions
• Maintain PM tools and systems to track milestones
• Collaborate with technical teams for security solution implementation
