DoorDash is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and delivery of physical security technology projects. You will work with cross-functional teams to keep initiatives on time, within scope, and within budget, with 25%+ travel.

This role offers growth in a fast-paced technology environment; you will coordinate with local business operation leaders, prepare project documentation, and maintain PM tools like Smartsheets, Jira, Asana, and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or Business Administration or 4+ years of related work experience.
• 1+ years of experience in project management or related role in tech or security.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Project Schedule Management via Gantt Chart is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating project activities including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Support PMs in developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate communication between project teams and local business operation leaders.
• Conduct risk assessments and contribute to mitigation strategies.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, notes, and presentations.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
• Maintain PM tools and systems to track milestones and deliverables.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure secure implementation of solutions.
