Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support planning, execution, and delivery of physical security technology projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects stay on time, within scope, and within budget.

Expect 25%+ travel and growth in a fast-paced tech environment. The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and familiarity with security tech and PM software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field, or 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• 1+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the technology or security industry.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and project scheduling/budget management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating project activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Support PMs in developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate communication between project teams and local business operation leaders.
• Conduct project risk assessments and contribute to mitigation strategies.
• Prepare project documentation, including reports, meeting notes, and presentations.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
• Maintain project management tools and systems to track milestones and deliverables.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful security solution implementation.
