Performance Contracting is seeking an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI Dallas 114 operations based in Midlothian, TX. This safety-sensitive role launches careers in project management and estimating within an employee‑owned organization.

The position includes safety meetings, punch list management, Q/A/QC support, RFIs, and coordination of materials and schedules, with opportunities for growth and relocation as projects require.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety meetings.
• Create and manage punch lists.
• Support the QA/QC measures outlined in PCI’s program.
• Prepare RFIs and submittals.
• Labor control on projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering.
• Support the implementation of the job schedule.
• Coordinate warranties and O&M’s.
• Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing.

The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launching pad for future leaders within PCI. It's a dynamic position offering hands‑on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment.

Job responsibilities include:

• Conducting safety meetings
• Creating and managing punch lists
• Supporting the Quality Control Measures outlined in PCI’s QA/QC program
• Preparing RFI’s and submittals
• Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
• Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering
• Supporting the implementation of the job schedule

Basic Requirements

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience
