Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI Des Moines 587 operations based in Des Moines, IA. This role serves as a launching pad for future leaders within PCI, offering hands-on experience in project management and estimating.

Job responsibilities include safety meetings, punch lists, QA/QC support, RFIs and submittals, labor control, material takeoffs, scheduling, warranties, and coordinating purchasing and invoicing. Pay range: $72,600-$77,600.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical job functions and applying new skills as they are taught.
• Strong customer service skills and relationship-building abilities.
• Must have critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and initiative.
• Works well under pressure and deadlines.
