Job summary

Performance Contracting seeks an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI Dallas 114 operations based in West Texas. This launching pad role offers hands-on experience in project management, estimating, and career growth within an employee-owned organization.

Responsibilities include safety meetings, punch list management, RFIs/submittals, QA/QC support, labor control, material takeoffs, and coordinating warranties and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in construction management/engineering/science.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launching pad for future leaders within PCI. It's a dynamic position offering hands‑on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment.

Job responsibilities include:

• Conducting safety meetings
• Creating and managing punch lists
• Supporting the Quality Control Measures outlined in PCI’s QA/QC program
• Preparing RFI’s and submittals
• Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
• Quantitative takeoffs for material orderingSupporting the implementation of the job schedule
• Coordinating warranties and O&M’s
• Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing

This position is safety-sensitive.

Basic Requirements

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience
