Slash is hiring an Associate General Counsel to build the legal foundation as we scale. You’ll report to our General Counsel and collaborate with the leadership team across product, commercial, and regulatory matters.

This is a broad, high-leverage role touching product, partnerships, and regulatory strategy. You’ll help structure and execute strategic relationships with banks, fintech partners, and infrastructure providers, balancing risk with speed while enabling growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience in a corporate, in-house, or law firm setting.
• Strong generalist skillset across commercial, regulatory, and product-related legal work.
• Experience in fintech, financial services, banking, or high-growth tech environments.
• Excellent judgment and ability to balance legal risk with business objectives.
• Clear and concise communication and ability to work cross-functionally.
• High ownership mindset and proactive problem solving.
• Experience structuring complex commercial relationships and partnerships.

Responsabilités

• Advise on a wide range of legal matters across product, commercial, and regulatory.
• Support development and launch of new financial products and features.
• Draft, review, and negotiate key agreements (partnerships, vendors, customers).
• Help structure and execute strategic relationships with banks and fintech partners.
• Partner with compliance, risk, and operations teams on regulatory strategy.
• Build scalable internal processes, templates, and governance frameworks.
• Identify legal/regulatory risks and propose practical paths forward.
• Manage external counsel when needed.
